(POLICE) Woodland Hills, California News -  Saturday April 8, 2017

 Police were called to respond to the United States Post office in Woodland Hills A Post Office worker asked Police to meet with him at the transient encampment location across the street from Am Pm Mini-Mart gas station on the 22100 block of Clarendon St. where he said to the 911 Operator it contained about 4 to 5 transient tents.  


When the Los Angeles Police arrived at the location of the complaint, police found what appeared to be United States Postal reusable plastic pallets, which Postal authorities told Police were allegedly stolen by a transient male in his 40s or early 50s who has been allegedly using these items which were in the transient male's possession upon examination of the male's transient tent encampment and said to be missing by the Woodland Hills Post Office, which is located just about 50 yards Westbound from this transient's encampment on the sidewalk way of the 22100 block of West Clarendon St, Woodland Hills, CA, Police said.

The transient male who was arrested for 2 misdemeanor counts of allegedly stealing large Post Office pallets made of plastic, had allegedly stole the items from the gated area of the U.S. Post Office Employees Only access area  located at 22100 block of Clarendon St, Woodland Hills, CA during sometime in Mid-March 2017. The items were reported missing about two weeks prior to today by Postal Employees at the location to their supervisor, police said.
Signs are posted, Do Not Enter.

The U.S. Post Office supervisor had met with Police to retrieve the stolen goods and press theft charges upon the suspect who faces 2 counts of illegal action for the crime, Police said. 


The Police Officer who was in charge of this incident and who was the arresting officer was LAPD Officer Sean Dinse and another L.A.P.D. Officer Paraida who are both assigned to the detail Woodland Hills street beat patrol and are in direct responsibility for all of the Meth, Drug users and transient street thugs in the West end hood as Woodland Hills, West Hills, and Chatsworth, Parts of Canoga Park as well. Two Men age 21, residents from Oxnard, CA, 1  was injured when a drunk driver hit them in their BMW from behind outside in front of The Westfield Promenade on Friday night, March 17, 2017 minutes after 8:20 P.M.

Two 21 year old men in a white bmw were involved in a serious D.U.I. traffic collision tonight next to the Westfield Topanga Villages Mall entrance off Topanga Cyn. Bl. 1 block North of Erwin St. At about 8:20p.m. tonight a driver in a white 4-door sedan exited the Westfield Village at Topanga in Woodland Hills after having four to five beers, The suspect told Police. He drove down Topanga Cyn. heading Southbound and wasn’t watching his speed, a white bmw was in the slow lane and traveling slower as the light changed, the white bmw headed southbound on Topanga Cyn. Bl. and the drunk driver crashed into the reared of the white BMW which was driven by a 21 year old man and his massager 21 year old male from Oxnard.




















The 21-year-old passenger suffered minor head truama as he ejected from his seat into the dashboard. Both of the 21 year old males, it in unclear if the driver and passenger of the bmw were both wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident but the passenger was ejected forward hitting his head into the dashboard in the front seat and had suffered injuries to the head, was transported via ambulance to the local Hospital Emergence Room for treatment.


Westfield Topanga Village Friday, March 17, 2017 after crashing his car into two 21-year-olds in a BMW, 1 boy injured and rushed to the hospital with head injuries. Suspect was booked into the County Jail for Felony charges of drinking six beers before driving home, Police said.


​Both boys in the bmw are friends. The driver who crashed into the boys bmw was not reported injured, police said. The Driver submitted a sobriety test with L.A.P.D. on the scene and agreed to it then failed the test and openly admitted to Police that he had drank about 5 to 6 beers within the past hour and he was feeling drunken but thought he could drive home becuse he said he lived close. The Los Angeles Police Department arrested the Felony suspect for Driving Under the Influence (D.U.I.) and handcuffed him at the scene and took him into custody.


​Los Angeles Fire Truck E72 responded back to the location to re-exam the driver of the BMW for any injuries and none were apparent at that time said the Fire Department.


OPG Howard Sommer’s Towing was on scene and towed the cars to their storage yard.

WOODLAND HILLS a 1970’s Music Celebrity singer dies

Celebrity 1970's Singer Cuba Gooding Sr. was found dead in Woodland Hills Tonight.
Officials said they found him inside his 2012 silver Jaguar slumped over his steering wheel dead at about 4:00 p.m. in Woodland Hills. 



April 20, 2017 Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in front of 22100 block of Ventura Boulevard a man was found not breathing inside his 2012 Jaguar. Witnesses dialed 911 emergency to summons an ambulance and when paramedics arrived they found the man apparently to be not breathing. Los Angeles City Firefighters and Paramedics attempted to revive the man, unknowing who he was and the cause of death was undetermined. They pronounced him deceased at the scene around 4:25 p.m. then alerted the Los Angeles Police . 

Police arrived shortly after paramedics arrived to seal off the scene and treat this as a possible homicide. As homicide detectives arrived and treated it like a homicide , they concluded their investigation and awaited the corner to arrive, Officials said. 

The Los Angeles Assistant Chief Medical Examiner will arrive to hold a press conference on the walk way in front of the building where the singer had died. to release the man’s identity to press, Police said.

The L.A. County Assistant Chief Medical Examiner told reporters and Tv news and news specials on the scene that the man has been identified as: 72 year old Cuba Gooding Sr. and the cause of death was determined to be still under investigation, said assistant Chief Medical Examiner of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office in a press conference on the location.

Police drove the singer's Jaguar away from the scene during mop up time after the Coroner left the scene with the deceased at about 5:51 p.m.

The location was crawling with Tv news buffs and the media was absorbing the streets and had taken up the entire street on the other side of Venture Blvd. All microwave Tv News vans had their Live action antenna's up in the air, shooting live news coverage and sending their cam pictures to the studio in live format. News photographers from the newspapers were all over and the Police had tapped off the sidewalk and had some of the driveways blocked where the celebrity singer's car had been parked.


"The scene was crawling with every television news contractor in the city, just about!" Celebrities who know Woodland Hills are always spotted by Tv news reporters and celebrity photographers for Universal Music Group while they are in contracts with them but this scene was a tragedy .

Dubbed: "The Sand Fire" continued to burn throughout the Santa Clarita area mountains and well into the famed recreational region of the Angeles National Forest and grew to more than 33,400 acres.... Residents and neighborhoods band together to assist firefighters to draw up fire lines with the volunteer fire dept crews on site but when Cal Fire arrived, they warded off the Volunteers as it was unsafe for them to enter the crowded roads during vacations of the home owner's and their hundreds of horses off Live Oak Springs Canyon Road area where the fire was raging in these video clips.

The Los Angeles Police arrived from a emergency help 911 call made by Mall security Saturday afternoon out in front of Staples on the 22000 Block of Erwin St. to assist a teen in need of medical treatment after Westfield mall security reported watching the man sniff hairspray from a bag he sprayed it into to inhale and get high. 

When police arrived, they found a male laying on his back on the sidewalk on the 22000 block of Erwin St. as reports stated to the 911 operator. He was complaining of being dizzy and had trouble breathing.


Officers stood him up and placed him in handcuffs and didn't arrest him. They searched his backpack and found hairspray aerosol cans , some empty and some half full but opened. He had a bag and his face was red as a rose, police said. 


Police placed the man into protective police custody so he couldn't harm himself anymore and called a LAFD Rescue ambulance from Fire station 84 for transportation to one of the local emergency rooms in the area for treatment of possible blood poisoning. The male, in his teen years was in and out of consciousness while the R.A. had strapped him in. Handcuffs were only used to keep the person from harming himself during transport. A mental phycological evaluation was likely though no word on wether he was admitted. 



Firefighters and Paramedics from E84 Station 84 and L.S.P.D. Topanga Police with the help of local Officers of Westfield Promenade Topanga Village Mall and shopping center on scene.

The woman driver of the red Mustang was not reported injured and refused medical treatment with rival paramedics, Police said.

Witness told police that the woman appeared to be racing her 2016 Red Mustang westbound Erwin St. from Topanga Canyon Boulevard before crashing.

The female in the red Mustang Cobra failed to yield the all-way stop sign ahead at the intersection of cross street Glade Ave. on Erwin St. where the red 2016 Mustang crashed into the parked cars along the right side of the lanes on Erwin St. just 50 yards West of Glade Ave. on Erwin St. in Woodland Hills at 9:30 p.m. Sunday April 30, 2017 which is about 1 block West of The Westfield Promenade Village at Topanga Mall, Police said.

The woman who was transported to the hospital, a 28-year-old, was in the parked silver 2012 Hyundai Elantra . This was the first car which the Mustang crashed into while traveling westbound on Erwin St. , Police said. 

A Total of of three cars parked and the Red Mustang was the cars involved. 

Fire Chief in command Tim S. L.A.F.D. authorized a Rescue ambulance to transport the young female to the hospital pending treatment inside the emergency room. E105, lafd City Fire Department on scene, Hook & Ladder E105, Truck 105, Truck E305, RA72 transporting the 28-year-old female.
